A minority of the population on planet earth believe in extraterrestrial life, an even smaller minority believes that the DNA of the monkeys on earth was tampered with to create the modern human species and an even smaller minority of people believe that human beings are actually different tribes from outer space.

It’s a super fascinating subject and always makes space for an interesting debate, but once you open up your mind and let your imagination drift with no preconceived ideas, it all may just make sense and you may just understand why you look up at the stars so longingly :) :) :)

Anyway this set of songs was written in the spring of 2010, the inspiration of the music is driven by the idea that we live on this planet in harmony with different alien species and how the human energy is abducting these alien energies and making them take human form.

Abducting aliens is a collection of downtempo tracks that show case a darker shade of ambient electronic music. The 5 songs in this collection are

1. These beings are around all of us
2. An Alien Lullaby
3. Space Ships in the Sky
4. Witnessing the hatching of an ET+Human Egg
5. Abducting Aliens

The names pretty much sum up what the agenda for the listening session is :) Another random fact is that Ambient music is often referred to as elevator music :) :) :) Hahaha I have always found that funny :)

It would be interesting to see if anyone plays this album in their elevators and if someone does, please do hit me up because I would love to take a ride in it!

Jokes apart, I hope all you ETs out there enjoy listening to this album! Always Keep ET real :)

Lots of space and bass,

Why I choose digital music / electronic music as a medium to express myself as an artist is because I’m able to tell a story through this medium & that’s the one thing that constantly fascinates me & also keeps me excited about using this medium. I am not so much in to the production side of things as I am more into the concept of telling the story having said that ‘Sonic Mandalas’ was produced in the winter of 2007, at that time I was really excited as this was the first album I was going to write using the software Logic.

The concept of this album is based around the pattern we are all a part of, where our consciousness has comes to life and is experiencing itself.

What is a mandala?

The word “mandala” is from the classical Indian language of Sanskrit. Loosely translated to mean “circle,” a mandala is far more than a simple shape. It represents wholeness, and can be seen as a model for the organizational structure of life itself–a cosmic diagram that reminds us of our relation to the infinite, the world that extends both beyond and within our bodies and minds.

So, ‘Sonic Mandalas’ has 7 tracks, the first one ‘Open Reflections’ is where the consciousness comes to life and sees its own reflection in the cosmos. Leading on to ‘Heady Messages’ which is about how after consciousness is reflected the head receives messages from everywhere and the dream becomes a reality. The song ‘Other Planets’ is about understanding where the experience is taking place and how different races on earth came from different planets and colonized earth. ‘Twisted Realms’, it’s about realizing that the consciousness is in the middle of the experience and there is no way to go back. ‘You’re safe’ is the track where the consciousness comes to terms with where it is and what it needs to do. ‘Things we share our planet with’, is when the consciousness understands that everything that helps it exist and experience life is created by other forms of life and its future depends on everything else. The last track ‘Sonic mandalas’, is the mandala for bliss, here the consciousness realizes its purpose and understands deeply that this experience is about being free loving sharing caring helping and uplifting other forms of life and energy it is a song for inner celebration :)

Hope you enjoy listening to it :)
